In just a few short weeks the New Year will soon be upon us. While most of us will be very happy to put 2020 behind us, we should also be looking forward to 2021 and the opportunities it might provide for us. But we should also remind ourselves that often we make our own opportunities by actions we take ourselves. And right now, with a new year almost in front of us, is the perfect time to think about 2021 and beyond.
Most of us make resolutions to start the year and some of us might even stick with them! But instead of the usual “I want to lose 15 pounds” or “I want to run a marathon this year” type of resolution, let’s give some thought to a different type of resolution. Why not make 2020 the year to take action to improve your future and your career by taking action and trying something new?
Most of us are looking for ways to increase our earning potential. Whether that would happen by getting a new and better job or by starting our own business, most of us would enjoy having more cash in our pocket or in the bank. I am happy to say that this is within the reach of anyone reading this blog post. We only have to have the desire, make the commitment and finally take action. Taking action is where many of us fall short.
Nothing will happen if we do not take action. We must not think that if we change nothing that the results we get will suddenly get better all by themselves. If we want something to change, we have to change something. Now, before you stop reading, let me say flat out that you do not have to take massive action in order to create a positive change. In fact, most meaningful changes are the result of many small changes that we make that all add up to something great!
I have three bits of advice for you:
First and foremost DO SOMETHING! Make an effort to change something and make it better. Creeate a plan that will help you meet your objective. Once you have that plan, work it until you get the results you need.
Second, do not try and do everything all by yourself. Some of us need help and there is nothing wrong or shameful about needing help. Get yourself a coach or someone that can help get and keep you motivated. You can join our newsletter by filling out the form on the upper right side of this blog where it says “Connect with Dave”. This will give you information and the help you will need to stay motivated.
Third, if you own your own internet business, or if you are thinking about starting one, a great way to start the new year would be to watch a very special FREE webinar on internet business. This webinar, taught by well respected marketer and coach John Thornhill, will give you plenty of good and useful information about how you can grow your business and finally earn the money you deserve and have the lifestyle you want. The webinar is free and you can access it here. You will find it well worth your time. And since it is free, you have nothing to lose and a whole lot to gain!
To your success,
