What is the best way to answer the question, “Are you a robot?” I work in customer service, and we text customers using our computers.
The best way to convince people that they are talking to a real person is to personally interact with them taking care not to use canned responses. Address them by name if you can or start off with a personal greeting of some sort.
Then, as you talk to them make your responses customized often referring to them using their real names. Computers often do not do that or do so in an obvious way. Talk and act natural and make every response as individualized as possible.
